Soft tissue fillers are formulations injected into the skin to smooth facial wrinkles, restore volume, and stimulate natural production of collagen and elastin. Fillers must be prescribed by a doctor and should only be administered by or under the oversight of a physician. Dr. Pamela Carr combines medical background with a natural appreciation of aesthetics, and a gentle touch, to rejuvenate faces throughout the greater Houston area.
Dr. Carr and her staff Cassie, Erica, and Eckerly are amazing. I have been a patient for years. Dr. Carr and her staff were recommended to me by several friends– I asked them about their glowing skin and each said they were patients of Dr. Carr. She has a warm and friendly office with a long time, dedicated staff– that is important. In addition to being a physician, Dr. Carr is an artist. She can study the contours of your face and make suggestions for future care. She keeps up-to-date on the latest applications and I feel I’m getting the best service available. I highly recommend Dr. Carr and her staff

Three Types Of Dermal Fillers
Deep tissue fillers – As we age, skin becomes thinner and loses elasticity. At the same time, facial volume in the form of collagen, fat, and bone, decreases. Skin begins to sag into folds and wrinkles. Dr. Carr uses deep tissue fillers to smooth these signs of aging.
RADIESSE® adds volume with a gel formulation containing calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres. It provides immediate wrinkle correction by plumping injected areas, and it stimulates collagen production. RADIESSE® is especially effective to lift and augment the cheek.
Sculptra Aesthetic contains poly-L-lacticacid, a biocompatible synthetic compound that re-volumizes the skin by generating collagen, and brings improved fullness to hollowed cheeks and temples. Several injection sessions over the course of three to four months are needed for results that last up to two years.
Two dimensional fillers – Hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers are ideal for adding long-lasting fullness to lips, and to improve the look of moderate facial folds, wrinkles, and lines. The HA filler Juvéderm has the ability to create enhancement that lasts up to nine to 12 months. Kysse provides beautiful, lasting, improved volume to the lips and Restylane improves the appearance of the under eye area.
Fillers for fine lines – Belotero is also a hyaluronic acid filler. Its smooth gel composition integrates into the structure of your skin, filling etched-in smile lines and fine lines around the lips.
